My family has been in need of getting Wills and Trusts set up for some time. We contacted Mr. Tramm as a group and were impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. On first glance we encountered a “gatekeeper” and were actually considering someone else, until we were able to set up a Zoom call (or something like it) and get a better understanding of who we were dealing with.

Based on our initial conversation, we all decided to use him instead of the other law firm we had interviewed. We went through the process of getting our paperwork in order. I was the first to complete mine. I knew what I wanted, and even used terminology in my “intake form” that Mr. Tramm is familiar with.

When I found out where I would have to travel to sign paperwork and complete the process, I wasn’t impressed. Personally I’ve come to hate driving on highways, but that’s what 90% of the road between my place and his office are. Plus, I was driving from I-35 south of the Twin Cities to just shy of the place the split highways (35W and 35E) reconnect to the north. I decided to leave in darkness, before the Sun came up, when traffic was relatively light. I arrived an hour early and “hung out” waiting for my scheduled time.

The office is on the 2nd floor, there are several other businesses on this floor but Tramm is well marked and easily located. There’s a long “crickety-looking” staircase or an elevator. I opted for the latter, because I was walking with a rolling walker. Mr. Tramm met me at his office door and we went about our business. After it concluded I started the long and harrowing process of driving home (it was later in the day and there was much more traffic). But I made it… eventually.

I first became aware of the Tramm Law Firm, PLLC while scrolling through FaceBook. A free live webinar was being offered covering estate planning. Being a new widow, this was something I had been wanting to do so I signed up and attended the webinar. The information was exactly what I was looking for and when a free consultation was offered up to the first 10 or so people who called, I jumped on it. I was in Mr. Tramm's office within a week.

Matthew was wonderful to work with. We went over everything and he explained the best ways to make sure my daughter would have no problems handling my affairs upon my death. One other thing that I'd never seen an attorney do before was have a menu of services and what they cost. There was no hourly increments to think about. My husband and I have had “set up our will” on the to do list for years, especially since having children, but we weren’t quite sure where to start. We had reached out to a few lawyers and either had no response, or details were lacking. We found Tramm Law and were impressed. Estate planning is something I didn't want to think about because I like to think I am invincible. But realistically, I guess I can face that I'm not. Working with Tramm Law Firm and planning for the inevitable future has been easy and actually has given me so much peace of mind. Knowing that if something happens to me and my husband - even just a car accident - my children will be taken care of immediately in the way we would want.

I didn't think there would be much difference between estate planning attorneys, but turns out, there is a wide range of services in the state of MN alone, and not all of them offer adequate help. Some of them aren't even friendly. My mother died recently and I've been working with her estate lawyer for the past year. That lawyer is unavailable, can barely provide information when he is reached and then charges exorbitant billable hours for his inadequate help. I've actually gotten far superior help from Tramm Law Firm regarding my mother's estate than I have from her estate lawyer. Plus, Tramm has compassion combined with superior knowledge. And trust me, that is really great to have someone who actually cares about you and your family more than billable hours.
